Supporting charities in tough economic times
In times of economic hardship how can a nursery still generate money for their company charity? A nursery who fundraises for a charity, is a nursery who assists those in need. It can say a lot about you as an organisation and contribute to a brand's reputation. But with inflation soaring, not only are charities contending with higher priced operating costs, less people are giving valuable funds to charity.

Asking parents too many times, and especially in times of economic hardship to delve into their pockets for change doesn’t feel right. Equally, stopping any company contribution to charity altogether feels drastic and damaging to some incredibly important causes. In such challenging economic times nurseries are being forced to think and operate differently….
Our nurseries are telling us as belts are being tightened people are more likely to donate to charity if they get something back, something more than the usual “feel good” when giving to charity.

The results speak for themselves; commission from CO Kids photo sales in 2021 raised £29,000 for the nursery chain’s company charity Cancer Research UK. The company expects for their company charity for 2022 Bliss the charity for premature and sick babies to be of similar amounts, with £18,000 raised by July 2021 already.
